On what do you spend too much money?
Rent.
If there is one thing I have complained about more this year than all of the other things I have complained about, it is the price of living in my apartment. When I moved to San Francisco, I knew very little about the different neighborhoods and what they had to offer, and basically just chose the first apartment that looked good and was close to the office. Little did I know that living in a "luxury" (read: large empty room with stained industrial carpet and a mysterious cigarette smell that haunts one of the corners) apartment just 3 minutes away from work at all times was good neither for my wallet nor my psyche...
